Ethical Veganism, or Ethical Omnivorism?
Posted On May 21, 2008
The new Apologia is out. In this episode we depart from the recent spate of dealing with issues where religion historically sets the agenda and tackle a topic straight out of later twentieth century Western philosophy. The point at issue:
Is eating meat an ethical act, or is it not?
It’s a fascinating discussion, populated by very intelligent and thoughtful folks on each side. The after-show discussion at the Apologia Blog has been quite vigorous as well. Drop by, give it a listen, post your comments. This is a hot topic in the last few years, and is all the more pointed now with the issues of climate change and rising food prices grabbing headlines.
