My two main characters need to decide whether to rescue the third or let the situation play out. I'm fairly confident they will choose badly. I can feel it in my waters.
I wrote 2,048 words today, which is back where I want my minimum to be on a daily basis. I used chunks of dictation to get there, which is great if I can keep that up every day! The bad news, I need twice that from here until the end of NaNo to win and hit 50K words.
When I said I was a plodder, I meant it. Sometimes I think stubbornness is my greatest asset. (Haven't finished today's words, so that's why it dips at the end.)

I wrote 1,000 words, but Friday's are always mind-numbingly long for me. I record 7 hours of podcasting every Friday, plus I had to deep clean my bedroom so the dust bunnies didn't kill me. Oh, and I did my daily exercise, which I am prioritizing, even if it costs me words. Finally, I did some bulk cooking today so I could be ready for future workaholic goodness going forward. I wish I did better, all things being equal.

Day 20: 1669 for the day for a total of 35,224. I often find it hard to get motivated on Fridays; it's the end of a long week and I know I have the next day off. Plus I'm running the writing sprints for the county nano group tomorrow morning so I'm pretty sure I'll make up any deficit then. But I pushed on until I hit my goal. So yay me. Now it's time to walk the dogs.
