A podcast is a free audio show that you can have delivered automatically to your computer for listening at your convenience. If you’re new to podcasting, scroll to the bottom of this page for a video explaining podcasting in plain English with helpful graphics.

There are a few ways you can get my shows:

  • Come to this website and listen to each episode
If you don’t want to bother with the whole podcasting thing, don’t worry – you can still listen. Simply click the link for each episode in the main blog. If you want to listen offline, right click on the “Download” link, then chose “save link as…” and save the MP3 file to your computer.
  • Subscribe On Your Phone
Whether you’re on Android or iOS, your phone can receive podcasts. Search for “Podcatcher” “Podcast” or similar in your app store, download an app, and then, from within the app, search for “J. Daniel Sawyer.” All–or at least most–of my shows will come up. Subscribe, and then go!
  • Subscribe On Your Computer
You can have the audio delivered right to your computer by using a podcatcher. Simply click on the button for the show you want (the button if you’re using iTunes, the button if you’re not). If you have a podcatcher installed already, it should automagically subscribe you to the show, and you’ll get all audio and special features delivered right to you automatically (although you won’t see the blog posts – those you have to come back here to read).

If you don’t have iTunes, click here to get it for free. If you don’t dig the whole Apple thing (and who can blame you?), you can find a comprehensive list of podcatchers for all operating systems here.

Now that you know what’s up, time to subscribe to those podcasts!
