Re: Completion Solidarity
I hear you on that score. Book 1 of this series was 110k. Book 2 was 120k. Book 3 was 198k. No idea what Book 4 is gonna look like yet. I've got 1800 words in the new intro, then about 70k words of previously written scenes to flow together, then I have to leap off into the totally unknown.

Re: Completion Solidarity
Excellent!
I spent last night (and probably will spend tonight) going through the notes and partial scenes I have written for this volume. Starting to get a rough picture of how it all is gonna fit together, and what I need to write.

Excellent!
I'm wading through my Series Bible additions at the moment. Hopefully will be done today. Then got a bunch of client work to get out of the way. Hoping to dive back in to vol4 on Monday.

Re: Completion Solidarity
JR: Oi, man, you're in danger of beating my word count for a single volume! Better pull up and pull out before you hit 200k!!! I finished my The Hartman Gambit reflow/readthru 2 days ago--have spend the last two days doing physical things to clear my head. I trimmed it from 240k to 210k,and then mo...

Re: Completion Solidarity
You're getting close! So am I. Just finished the BIG climactic sequence of this book, have a couple dozen pages to go. I may actually wind up just moving all of them to the next volume--a decision I'll make later today. Once this is done, I'm halfway through the big series. The furthest I've ever be...

Re: Completion Solidarity
About 100pgs left to go in the read-thru/continuity pass/cut/etc. I'm very VERY happy with how it's flowing since the big re-order. Wish it was going faster, but even so...I should finish the go thru by month's end, and then I'm into Vol 4, which is currently only half-done, so I should at least be ...

Re: Completion Solidarity
Go Go Gadget Handley! I've hit the halfway point with the continuity/read-thru of book three. A lot in this section has proved redundant after the re-order, so to the razor it falls. Very happy with what this re-order has done to the flow of the story. With any luck I might be into the first half of...
