Re: Completion Solidarity

Got a couple new scenes today, added about 1500 new words, but then subtracted 2k worth of notes, so negative on word count but positive on story.

Re: Completion Solidarity

Up to 69,600. Feels like pulling teeth, which I attribute to project drop from wrapping up the NaNoGang. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

Re: Completion Solidarity

I've taken two days off instead of one, but I'm intending to jump back in tomorrow.
Then I've also gotta finish Lantham #9 by year's end so I have a clear field this winter to tackle the next 2-3 vols of the BIG series that's been my nemesis.

Completion Solidarity

All right, everyone, here's where we continue the fight to the finish. I'm starting from 67,468 and am currently expecting the book to top out somewhere around 80k. I'll be starting my completion push tomorrow. Who's with me? How far have you got to go to completion, and when are you hoping to finis...

Re: Daily check-in thread?

Holly! Welcome back, and congrats on getting to 23k! JR, yeoman's work at 19k+ especially with all you've been fighting through (and that tragic word processor hiccup) :-) Ed, Shaye, How did things turn out for you? Congratulations Theresa on hitting the 50k goal :-) My final check-in for NaNo: I di...

Re: Daily check-in thread?

Day29:
64107 for a daily total of 3341. Definitely not going to finish before the deadline, dammit. Hoping I don't burn more than a week of December finishing this puppy up. We shall see.

Down to the wire! Keep going, everyone!

Re: Daily check-in thread?

Theresa -- Today is another day.
Ed -- With what you're battling against, 4 in a row would be a great way to finish.
JR -- Keep fighting.

The end is nearly upon us. Go go go!

Re: Daily check-in thread?

Just finished tomorrow's recording. Ended my Day 26 with 1738 words, which brings my total to 57101. I've now got the entire rest of the book scene-carded out so that I can start knocking pins over. By my calculations, this leaves about 16,500 to 17,500 words to go, which means if I want to finish b...

Re: Daily check-in thread?

I've had to teach my dog to bring me the ball when I'm writing, or she gets very dejected at how much attention I'm paying to the keyboard instead of her. Even then, she's beside-herself happy when we go out. Dogs know their priorities :-) Congrats on being back in the groove, Theresa! Ed, those nov...
