Day 6: 849 new words, only 114 net. I cut a scene that didn’t fit the tone/genre. I could have left it for the count but that would have been disingenuous.

Day 7: 1,403 words

Total: 9,663 words

A good day followed by a very poor day brought me to 16970 on project one and 259 for the month on project too. Hopefully today winds up on the better side.

Day 8: 1,487
Total: 11,150

Yesterday was the first “I don’t want to write today, waaaah”. Fortunately I didn’t listen to that voice this time.

Day 9: 165 words.

Totally not feeling it yesterday. None at school/work during the day, worked on some YouTube branding then crashing for a nap in PM, did a coaching call at 7:30, and just wanted to play some Apex Legends before bed.

Total: 11,313

Pace deficit now: 3,681

Day 9: 2991
Total so far: 21627 on the main project. Trying to ramp up so I can actually finish the whole book this month, not just hit the word count.

What kinds of things are holding everyone back from what they're aiming for? I'm having to fight through a hell of a lot of mental fog.

I have felt a whole lot of mental fog since I had the COVID. But also, I don’t keep a very regular sleep schedule. Well that’s not true, I’m just not getting to it early enough!

The other thing is I’m not sold out on being an author only. I have so many other interests and content creation plans that sometimes I just don’t WANT to write, damn it, and you can’t make me!

My inner two-year old will resist playing if you tell him he has to lol.
