In the last couple days, I’ve been running around like a nut getting the word out for Reclaiming Your Mind: An Autodidact’s Bible, and in that time we blew through the initial funding goal.
So the book is happening, and it’s happening before Christmas.
Then, before I could properly spread the word, we blew through the first stretch goal: A companion workbook.
So, now, backers will be getting more to help them acquire the toolkit in Reclaiming Your Mind and make it stick.
We’re currently tortuously close to $4000 in funding, and the next stretch goal is in sight:

The course?
Critical Reasoning in a Propaganda-Rich World This course will discuss typical propaganda techniques, how they are meant to circumvent your reasoning, and how to develop techniques to more successfully guard against them. Apolitical and non-ideological, these are the techniques used by thinkers in all major intellectual and cultural traditions.
This is the first of three courses we have laid out for stretch goals, and beyond that we have audiobooks and a children’s edition of Reclaiming Your Mind on offer.

After a childhood in academia, J. Daniel Sawyer declared his independence by dropping out of high school and setting off on a series of adventures in the bowels of the film industry, the venture capital culture of silicon valley, surfing safaris, bohemians, burners, historians, theologians, adventurers, climbers, drug dealers, gangbangers, and inventors before his past finally caught up to him.
